As she looks outside her window,

She wonders why she’s filled with sorrow

There’s a hole in her heart she cannot fix

Bleeding within, she hopes to take a single glimpse

Though the leaves are green and the birds fly high

She finds it hard to continue, or even try

Now the sky slowly starts to dim in gloom

But she still can’t escape her open room

What do wise men say when they are lost and trapped?

Can their words lead her to a road, even without a map?

But as she faces her window,

And ponders why the world feels so blue

She only sees her own reflection

So she asks, “Could it be just you?”
